Description

1932 Colorado error plate:  The initial step in producing the plates was to stamp the numbers.  In this case the numbers were not straight, and the last number was not stamped at all, so further steps to stamp the date, state name, and debossed border were not done.  These were discarded and ultimately became siding for a building in Bailey, Colorado.  A number of these were retrieved and painted to show the 1932 colors.
