How do I make a purchase of collectible or vintage license plates?
By using our Shopping Cart system, you will receive an invoice for cost of plates, postage and sales tax (Colorado residents only). We accept Paypal, personal checks, and money orders.
Individual plate weight varies according to metal composition and gauge of the metal. USPS postage costs are calculated by weight, shipping to the U.S., as plates are added to the Shopping Cart. Cost of shipment outside the U.S. will be more. International buyers should email for specific postage costs. We do not charge handling fees.
Plates are mailed to USPS Priority Mail addresses. We need to receive payment within 10 days or the plate/plates will be resold, unless other arrangements are made. We accept any returned plates and will give a full refund and return postage. Yes, we will combine your website purchases with our eBay auction sales. However, we request that separate eBay and website purchases are made to avoid confusion. Any postage overage of over $2.00 will be refunded.
One of the best ways to save on postage is to make multiple purchases of up to 10 standard size plates for $9.00 postage or up to 50 standard size plates for $16.65 postage. These rates are for US destinations. International postage varies according to country. Longer international plates and some older U.S. plates do not fit in these Priority Flat Rate priority mailers. Postage information is available at www.usps.com.
