Our eBay auction of the lightweight 1949 New Mexico Waffle License Plate wins our most popular Boyd auction this week with 16 Watchers. Several states made these aluminum plates for a few years that were “waffled” to strengthen them.

On another note, Tom has broadened his usual website offerings that now include some specialty plates ( Purple Heart, Vietnam Veteran, etc). I’ve noticed that this change has increased sales and that some plates our purchased within hours of being posted.
