This is a 1973 Northwest Territories Canada bear shaped official plate used on vehicles transporting visiting royalty :  The plate is in mint condition and was never used.  The plate also has a slogan commemorating the centennial of the RCMP .  Ever since the issue of these bear shaped plates began in 1970, these plates have been very popular among collectors and non-collectors alike.
