As you know, we list new auctions on eBay every week. We are having fun writing about the “Winners” of our current auctions with the most “Watchers”.  This week’s winner is the 1951 New Mexico License Plate sporting the popular Zia has 22 Watchers. Following close behind with 21 Watchers is the 2004 South Carolina Specialty License Plate Number Tag – H. L. Hunley. This SC specialty plate was issued to commemorate the H.L. Hunley, a Confederate submarine from the Civil War. Finally,  the ever-popular 1958 Colorado License Plate – Skier also has 21 Watchers. Since there are so many variables to consider (state, year, condition, uniqueness, etc), the plates with the highest number of Watchers do not always get the highest auction price but it is fun to watch which plates pique a collector’s interest.
